Ferson save 5 days a month by automating tenders using Causeway solutions

Causeway Technologies, a leading supplier of software solutions to the construction industry has announced that Ferson Construction Services Ltd (FCSL) has recently upgraded to Causeway Estimating and Valuations systems.

FCSL undertake substantial trade packages in brick & block work, carpentry & joinery, toilet & general fit out and hard landscaping on projects as diverse as offices, prisons, warehouses, shopping malls, leisure facilities, hospital and supermarkets. FCSL have upgraded from Wessex estimating to the Causeway solution, a comprehensive estimating and valuations system. They were keen to implement Causeway Estimating to improve the process of compiling valuations having previously relied on spreadsheets.

In addition to the core Estimating system, FCSL is one of the first companies to adopt the Valuations module. Causeway Valuations can be used as a stand alone or fully integrated software application, incorporating the popular intuitive drag and drop user interface, first seen in Causeway’s Estimating software and allows fully resourced estimating data to be used for post contract valuations.

Company Director Martin Lynch is convinced that Causeway Estimating will dramatically improve the costing service FCSL provides to its clients. All aspects of estimating, value engineering, "open book" and life cycle costing through to final account presentation will, in future, be faster and more accurate. He believes that this investment will carry the company forward and contribute to its future development.
