Causeway Customer 'One of Britain's Fastest Growing'

Causeway client Barhale Construction has seen its turnover rocket in recent years, from £22m just five years ago to £120m today.

The growth has pushed the company into this year's Sunday Times 'Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100' league table as one of Britain's fastest-growing companies.

Barhale Construction employs 1200 people and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2005. It recently renewed and increased its framework contract success in the water industry AMP4 process and also established a northern division, operating out of Lymm, Warrington.

Two years ago the Walsall-based group invested in Causeway's Financials and Project Accounting solution. According to Barhale Information Systems Manager Henry Arthur the introduction of the system has played an important role in the company's success.

"There is no doubt that being able to access our site and financial information from the same system has given substantial benefits. The ability to demonstrate a sophisticated and integrated financial system like Causeway played an important role in our strategy to retain and enhance our water industry contracts. It is a valuable tool."
